Description
The iUk Craft Guide Book wasn’t born in a design studio; it was born from a
lifetime of obsession with how things work. Before turning his attention to the
world of bespoke crafting, Glen spent his career in the high-stakes world of
mechanical engineering. From aerospace to military high-tech development,
he operated in the realm of “sub-micron” machining—tasks so precise and
demanding that most companies wouldn’t even attempt them. When you
spend your day-to-day life accounting for tolerances that the human eye
can’t even see, you develop a unique way of looking at a heat press or a vinyl
cutter.
Glen’s mission with this book is to take that “engineer’s eye” and simplify it for
the everyday crafter. He believes that you don’t need a degree in physics to
get professional results—you just need the right foundations, a bit of patience,
and a guide that cuts through the jargon. Today, when he isn’t writing or
teaching, Glen is busy running the busy iUk workshop, proving every day that
with the right “math behind the masterpiece,” anyone can create something
incredible.

I actually enjoyed reading this book, yes I have got it! Even the chapters are colour coded. Will this be availible as an actual physical book?
This fab book has filled in so many blanks. It is an easy read and full of information. Plus a few cheeky phrases of wisdom.
Love it, fantastic book, easy to follow and loving the when things go wrong
Well worth the money, this is now my go to reference for more than just heat transfers
An excellent crafting book that combines expert knowledge with easy explanations. The book goes beyond basic instructions by including helpful tips, troubleshooting advice and common mistakes to avoid. Every section is written in a way that feels supportive and informative turning difficult crafting concepts into something simple and achievable for beginners and experienced crafters alike. I found it extremely useful and would highly recommend it.
Amazing book, I wish I had this book when I first started. Love the cartoons! Are they you Glen?
This is different to other crafting manuals. The author did not hold back on explaining some of the mysteries of colour and image formats I learnt so much from the “colour chapter”. I know what image types to use for different projects too.
I highly recommend, buying this book. You thought you knew stuff. This goes far deeper, without being a heavy read.
